What to Expect in an FKA Workshop
We want you to get the most of your FKA workshop experience. FKA provides: a highly interactive workshop with ample opportunity to practice; a collaborative learning environment; the latest in tools, materials, research and industry information; comprehensive course materials that you can use back on the job; and the best learning experience available.
Workshop Leaders
FKA instructors deliver the ultimate learning experience. They are seasoned instructors with years of training experience. Your FKA instructor is often demonstrating the very techniques you are learning. More than platform presenters, they are skilled in training design and development. These seasoned professionals understand your industry and the business challenges you are facing. As dynamic facilitators and CTT+ certified instructors, they deliver workshops that are illustrated with practical examples of real-works solutions. Participants in every FKA workshop benefit from the experience FKA instructors accumulate from working with a broad cross section of clients.
Your FKA instructor also brings a passion and genuine desire to help you create the very best training programs possible. That’s why, before and after this workshop, you are welcome to discuss any aspect of the workshop content or training topic that’s of interest to you.
Pre-Course Surveys
You will receive a detailed pre-course survey. The information collected before each program will help us ensure that all your training objectives are met. In addition you will receive information regarding facility location, program time, and any preparatory activities, or materials you may need to bring.
Facilities
FKA uses high quality facilities across North America. We want to ensure that you are in a safe, comfortable environment for each and every workshop.
Hours
Most FKA workshops run from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with time for breaks and lunch. Our workshop instructors are also available before and after the program for additional discussions.
Dress
Casual. Facility temperatures can vary greatly, please bring a sweater or jacket.
Meals
A continental breakfast is included each day at 8:00 a.m. In addition, beverage services and snacks are available during the day.
Certification
You will receive an industry recognized and respected Certificate of Completion at the end of the workshop. Every FKA workshop is eligible for FKA Professional Certification. See our FKA Certification area to discover where your workshop fits in.
Cancellations
Cancellations affect everyone--you, the other participants, the instructor, the facility and FKA. Should it be necessary for you to cancel, FKA will refund 100% of the workshop fee provided we receive written notice of the cancellation a minimum of 15 business days before the workshop. FKA will refund 50% of the workshop fee for cancellations or rescheduling requests received in writing less than 15 business days before the workshop. No refund will be provided to no-shows on confirmed seats. A substitute may attend in your place on a confirmed and paid registration.
In the event of a workshop being cancelled for any reason FKA's liability is limited to the return of the registration fees only. Please use caution when booking non-refundable airline tickets or hotel rooms.
Payment
Workshop enrollment is limited to maximize learner interaction with the instructor and materials. Workshop payment must be received prior to attendance. Specifically:
- Instructional Techniques, CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer+) and CTT+ Boot Camp workshop payments are due 3 weeks prior to the start of the programs.
- All other workshops payments are due 2 weeks prior to the start of workshop.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
