August 2, 2005, Ottawa, ON – It’s never advisable to chuck the baby out with the bath water, so we didn’t. What we did do was clean it up; add a healthy diet, an excise program, and a stylish set of clothes.
With a foundation of four decades of great work in the learning and performance industry, it easy for an organization to become comfortable with a heavy us and informational style of website. Laden with corporate information, but lacking in some of the elements that draw clients back to the site, it was time to refresh not only the look but the content and purpose of the site.
Perhaps the biggest changes outside of the new look and feel and enhanced navigation system, is the addition of both a Members Only area reserved for clients and delivering extra value to the, and the launch of a new monthly newsletter. You will be able to access upcoming workshops and events easily from the main page, and link to common areas of interest from color-coded areas also on the home page.
“When we started the new web initiative we asked our clients what they wanted most,” said Margaret Burniston, director of marketing at FKA. “The response was loud and clear – ongoing information that will help us get our jobs done. This along with more resources and more great content is what we are set to deliver.”
Testimonial evidence from clients now appears on every web page. “Our clients have been singing our praises for years, it’s time we shared this with visitors to our site. It creates credibility and shows visitors that organizations like theirs have success with FKA,” said FKA President Michael Nolan.
Not content to rest on our laurels, future enhancements to the site will include client access to manuals for courses they have taken, a Shop FKA area devoted to training aids, and classroom video samples where prospective learners can take a peak before attending a workshop.
