Program length varies from 1 to 5 days in duration. Hours each day are usually 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

For our Instructional Techniques and CTT+ programs you will need to bring any materials or props you wish to use for your “practice teach” sessions. All other materials you need for the program will be provided by FKA.

Yes, each participant will receive a precourse survey, as well as location and facility information. Precourse surveys are completed online.

To maintain effective group dynamics FKA keeps all programs at a manageable size. Generally programs do not exceed 12 – 15 participants. Instructional Techniques programs have a maximum of 12 participants per class. CTT+ programs have a maximum of 8 participants.

  • Our world-class facilitators are CompTIA CTT+ certified instructors with backgrounds and expertise in workplace learning and performance. On average, they have been with FKA for more than 18 years. They have worked in various learning and development roles including learning managers, course developers, training needs analysts, and performance consultants in a wide variety of industries.

Payment can be made immediately by Visa, MasterCard or American Express. All payments for Instructional Techniques, CTT+ and CTT+ Boot Camp programs must be received 3 weeks before the start of the program. Payments for all other programs must be recieved 2 weeks prior to the start of the program.

Clients taking multiple programs for FKA certification are eligible for a $100 discount on their 3rd and subsequent programs. Three(3) or more individuals attending the same program from the same organization are also eligible for a discount. Ask your FKA representative about the special discounts that apply to in-house programs. (Discounts may not be combined.)

A continental breakfast is included each day at 8:00 a.m. for all public programs. Beverage services and snacks will be available during the day. Lunch is on your own.

Each participant will receive a comprehensive program manual complete with decision tables, checklists, and templates for use back on the job.

Yes, FKA offers complimentary post-learning participant support in the form of a sustainment session consisting of a live facilitated 1 hour online follow-up (2-3 weeks post program) to maximize and reinforce learning. In addition FKA offers a 1-year hotline providing access to FKA experts to discuss lessons learned, successes, challenges, and best practices. 

FKA uses high quality facilities across North America. You are in a safe, comfortable environment for each and every workshop. Public programs currently run in major urban centers across North America. These include Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC, Toronto, Ottawa, and Calgary. Call for other locations.

Based on client demand new cities are added to the list. Check with your FKA representative for the latest locations. Dedicated programs can be run in any city and in any country.

Yes, FKA will customize any of our existing programs to meet your needs. These can be delivered as a dedicated on-line or on-site program. Your needs for a custom program can also be met through FKA Consulting Services. This group will custom develop and deliver topics specifically suited to your organization’s needs.

FKA offers One-on-One Coached Learning on any of the topic areas covered in our programs. Coaching is available in person, online or by phone.

For over 50 years, and applied to thousands of successfully completed learning and performance improvement projects, FKA has used and continues to develop their unique, robust and patented Methodology. It is the backbone of all FKA products and services.

Individual project length varies by requirements, level of effort, and deliverables. Projects can range from a few days or weeks, to many months or years.

FKA’s highly experienced project managers and consultants, fluent with the FKA Methodology, work collaboratively with you to determine the required project resources for your initiative. This may include subject matter experts from both FKA Consulting Services and your organization.

FKA’s Consulting Services develops a work plan collaboratively with you to identify timelines, requirements, level of effort, resources, and milestones. All factors will be mutually agreed on before commencing any project. To ensure that you’re kept up to date, weekly status reports are produced by the project leader which relate directly to the agreed on steps in the work plan.

In these technology savvy times many project activities can be handled remotely or through the use of technology. Where activities are required on your site, they will be arranged to promote uninterrupted work flow.
